The Brazilian Symposium on Collaborative Systems (SBSC) is the most important Brazilian forum for researchers and professionals working on Collaborative Systems. In this event the well known national and international researchers come toegether to discuss current research topics. The event is annually sponsored by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC). In 2013 SBSC is on its 10th edition, and will count with a panel for the reflection about the community in the last 10 years.
In 2013, SBSC will take place in Manaus, which will be its first edition on the North of Brazil. In taking place in Manaus SBSC will allow for an increase in participation of professionals in industry, which is strong in the capital of the Amazon state. Also it will allow the participation of professors and students who live in the Amazon state. Manaus, as the capital, has an excellent infra-structure to receive participants coming from the other regions of Brazil and abroad.
